Welcome! My name is Gregory Kimball and I am a research scientist living in the SF Bay Area. I work in San Jose, CA at the solar cell factory of Nanosolar, Inc. I studied chemistry and applied physics at the California Institute of Technology and completed my Ph.D in 2011.
I am interested in semiconductor devices, energy conversion, and materials synthesis. From molecular beam epitaxy to non-vacuum thin films, microfabrication to megawatt-scale manufacturing, my passion is building the next generation of semiconductor devices!
